About Psynaps and Psynaptic Media

Psynaptic Media is a Digital Media community founded by Psynaps (Richard Smrt Ph.D). Psynaps started out with a career in Neuroscience but decided to follow his passion in digital media arts and educating and entertaining viewers on his livestream. Over the past few years he has embarked on the rewarding journey of offering free digital media art education for the masses. His efforts have helped and inspired thousands of up and coming digital media artists and gamers with free tutorials. Many of his digital art pieces have received millions of views on many YouTube channels including his own, and he has thousands of followers on social media outlets such as YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook. Psynaps’s tutorials and online gaming presence have developed a huge fan base consisting of gamers and artists from every corner of the world making Psynaptic Media one of the best resources for finding information on how to improve the quality of your video and live stream content.

Tutorials and Guides

In addition to video editing and 3D animation tutorials, Psynaps takes the viewers step-by-step through the process of designing, building, and using computer systems for video editing, gaming, and live streaming (and recently one for scientific research). For many years he has been designing, building, and implementing high end systems for work (computational neuroscience lab, video editing and graphic design) and play (gaming), and publishing step-by-step tutorials on these systems.
